Virtual Currency & In-App Purchases Policy

Applies to Spin Fern (spinfern.com) in New Zealand.

1) Virtual currency and items

  • Our virtual coins, credits, chips, tokens, boosts and similar digital items (“Virtual Items”) are for in-game entertainment only.
  • Virtual Items have no cash value, are not legal tender, and are not redeemable, withdrawable, or exchangeable for money, goods, or services outside the Service.
  • You do not own Virtual Items; you receive a limited, revocable licence to use them within the Service, subject to our Terms.

2) Purchases, pricing and taxes

We may offer optional purchases (e.g., coin packs) and/or subscriptions. Prices are shown at checkout and may be in NZD or another currency depending on your store/account settings. Where required, New Zealand GST may be included or added as displayed at purchase.

Payment processing is handled by the app store or platform provider (e.g., Apple/Google). We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

3) Delivery and balance

Purchased Virtual Items are typically delivered immediately to your account. If delivery is delayed or missing, contact us with your receipt/order details. Virtual Item balances may be adjusted to correct errors, address fraud/chargebacks, or enforce our rules.

4) Subscriptions (if offered)

If you buy a subscription, it may renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel through your app store account settings. Benefits may end at the end of the current billing period unless the store’s rules state otherwise.

5) Refunds, cancellations and chargebacks

  • All purchase and refund requests are governed by the platform provider’s policies where you purchased (e.g., Apple/Google).
  • To the extent permitted by law, purchases of digital items are generally final once delivered. However, nothing in this policy limits your rights under New Zealand law (including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986) where applicable.
  • Chargebacks or reversed payments may result in removal of Virtual Items and/or restriction or suspension of your account.

6) No transfer or resale

  • You must not sell, gift, transfer, trade, or barter Virtual Items (or accounts) to anyone, or attempt to do so.
  • Third-party marketplaces, “coin sellers,” and similar services are prohibited and may lead to loss of items and account action.
